概要     Summary

■2025年に始まった筑波大学 医学医療系 公共健康政策研究室（宮脇研究室）では、公衆衛生や集団の健康に関わる現実の政策課題に対して、データに基づくエビデンス重視のアプローチで研究を行っています。疫学や計量経済学といった手法を用いて、定量的な分析を行い、根拠に基づいた政策立案（Evidence-Based Policy Making: EBPM）に貢献するエビデンスを導き出しています。サイエンスの力でより良い医療・健康政策を実現したいと考えている方にとって、最適な学びと挑戦の場を提供します。

Launched in 2025, the Department of Public Health and Health Policy (Miyawaki Lab), Institute of Medicine, University of Tsukuba, explores real-world policy challenges in public and population health through data-driven evidence-based approach. Using tools like epidemiology and econometrics, we carry out quantitative analyses to uncover evidence that supports evidence-based policymaking (EBPM). 教育     Education

■当研究室では、公衆衛生学位プログラム（MPH)・パブリックヘルス学位プログラム（３年制DrPH）の学生を受け入れています。大規模administrativeデータや人口ベース調査等を用いて、医療政策に資するようなヘルスサービスリサーチ・医療経済・社会疫学分野の研究を行います。

Our lab welcomes students from the Master of Public Health (MPH) program and the three-year Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) program. We conduct research in health services research, health economics, and social epidemiology, using large-scale administrative data and population-based surveys to generate evidence that informs health policy.
